Foster Joins Hospitality Leaders at Eats Out in Soho

Foster recently joined chefs, operators and hospitality professionals at Eats Out, an immersive industry event organised by The Restaurant Online in Soho, London.

Bringing together 23 guests from across the hospitality sector, the event offered a unique opportunity to connect with some of the people shaping the future of independent restaurants whilst exploring three distinctive dining concepts in the heart of the capital.

This community-driven initiative shines a spotlight on the restaurants, chefs, and teams who continue to shape the region’s dining scene, despite the ongoing challenges facing the industry and the limited support available to hospitality businesses.

A Tour of Soho's Hospitality Scene

Guests visited Alta, Khao Bird and Three Sheets, each showcasing a different approach to food, drink and guest experience.

From live-fire cooking and Northern Thai barbecue to precision cocktail techniques, the venues demonstrated the creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail that define today's hospitality industry.

The Power of Experience

One theme emerged consistently throughout the day: diners are looking for more than great food alone.

Whether it was the dramatic open-fire kitchen at Alta, the energetic atmosphere of Khao Bird or the intimate setting at Three Sheets, each venue showed how environment, service and storytelling combine to create memorable experiences.

Big Flavours, Simple Concepts

The event also highlighted the growing popularity of bold international influences delivered in accessible ways.

Basque-inspired cooking using British produce, Northern Thai barbecue and carefully crafted cocktails all reflected a wider trend towards distinctive flavours presented in a way that feels approachable and authentic.

Looking Ahead

Beyond the food and venues, Eats Out provided an opportunity for honest conversations about hospitality, business growth and the challenges facing operators today.

The insights gathered from the event will help shape future content and collaborations, while strengthening relationships with the people driving innovation across the hospitality sector.

Video content and media coverage from the event will be shared in the coming weeks, providing a closer look at the venues, people and ideas that made the day such a success.
