Machinery being delivered at Foster Refrigerator

Foster Refrigerator takes delivery of first of two machines

On Wednesday 14 March, we took delivery of the first of two new, class leading punching machines at our sheet metal facility in King’s Lynn.

The new machinery offers increased capability and cutting capacity for our growing business. Multi-tools and cluster tooling will enable a high degree of operational flexibility, and design for manufacturing all with the advantage of speed of service to the customer in mind.

Using advanced technology these electric powered machines use significantly less energy than more traditional hydraulic technology. As part of our ongoing commitment to the environment, these new machines demonstrate how we are continually working on carbon reduction measures throughout its business and manufacturing plants which are outlined in our CSR Report. By employing such technology, we continue to demonstrate its commitment to the Carbon Trust Standard, and that it remains at the forefront of the industry when it comes to environmental issues.
