If you’re in the hospitality industry, there’s a good chance you know Foster.
For more than 50 years, Foster Refrigeration has been trusted by professional kitchens across the UK and beyond. Since 1968, we’ve been designing and manufacturing commercial refrigeration from King’s Lynn, Norfolk, building a reputation for reliable, high-performance equipment and a deep understanding of what people running hospitality venues actually need.
These days, though, we’re not just Foster Refrigerator. We’re Foster and Gamko.
Who are Foster and Gamko?
Foster and Gamko is the name we use to bring together our two established areas of expertise. Foster is all about commercial refrigeration while Gamko has your professional drink cooling needs covered.
Gamko also has a strong history. They were established in 1958, so they’ve got over half a century’s worth of experience in developing under-counter bottle fridges and larger drinks refrigeration systems for the likes of bars, pubs and hotels.
ITW acquired Gamko in 2010, and since then, the Foster and Gamko have continued to grow their expertise, technology and manufacturing capabilities alongside each other.
In 2019, they were brought together as unified brands.
Whether you’ve got a Foster fridge or freezer in your kitchen, or a Gamko bottle cooler in your pub, you’re still dealing with the same brand you know and trust.
The difference is that Foster and Gamko represent more of what we do as The Refrigeration Experts.
It means our customers get the benefit of decades of expertise across both sides of professional cooling, backed by the same commitment to quality and innovation that we’ve always been known for.
