NORFOLK WILDLIFE TRUST
Case study
Hear from Sue Collison:
"The EcoShow, first impressions, were wow this is amazing"
Holme Dunes is a Norfolk Wildlife Trust site in North Norfolk, perfect for birdwatchers, beach goers and nature lovers.
Throughout the year in the café, in the summer it is very, very busy, we’re queued from 10am through until when we close at half past 4. It’s pretty nonstop. In winter, we have lots of regular people.
The EcoShow, first impressions, were wow this is amazing. It looks amazing. The doors look amazing. When we first got the EcoShow, it looked quite big, which was good because we have lots of stuff in there. Which meant we don’t have to fill it… our old one we used to have to fill up every day. This one, we can go two or three days, which is brilliant.
The whole lighting thing is amazing because when we put all our cans in, they lit straight up. When people come in, they can actually see them.
"The sales have definitely gone up since we
had the EcoShow without a doubt."
With the doors, people had to look inside before they open the door, which is a really good thing. Before, people would just take stuff off the shelves, look at it and then put it back on.
The sales have definitely gone up since we had the EcoShow without a doubt. And I do believe it is the lighting. Also the temperature control is really good and keeps all our food really fresh. It’s really nice to have fresh pasties.
As a nature reserve, sustainability is a key factor, which is why the EcoShow is a very good product.
